29th Birthday

Well, today is my birthday. I was reminded this morning I have not made an entry here since October. So, here I am. One year to go until people stop saying "oh, you are just in your twenties." Yes, I know. For those of you any older then me, you are sitting there saying, "You should be thankful you are still in you twenties." You have heard the saying, "Youth is wasted on the young." Do you wonder why that is? It's because the young have yet to experienced the things that make you wise up about what you "should have done." Youth is wasted on they young because we are too stupid to know what it will be like later. Not out of ignorance, but out of inexperience.

So ends my rant for my last birthday of my third decade. I will enjoy this year. I get to make New Years resolutions and move up a year in age all at the same time. Starting fresh all happens in one stroke for me. I jump to my feet, wash the decay of last year off and set out to meet another year with a spring in my step. My resolution is to enjoy this year. The last year of what is considered "youth."

Happy New Year and God Bless!
